jon graduates from his first year at Brown tomorrow!!! i can't believe that a year has already gone by! that's wild!

his mom flew in on wednesday and we have been showing her around, introducing her to our new friends, saying goodbye to our roommate and packing up our apartment. yesterday we went hiking in lincoln wood (see photo).

today jon and barbara are in boston and i stayed home because i had to work. i should be packing. it is so overwhelming.

tomorrow jon will graduate and receive a master's for his work this past year. what a great accomplishment!

now, we are setting our sights on the summer in alaska. we look forward to working hard and playing in nature in the pacific northwest! my sister, deborah is there now waiting for us to arrive . . . as well as are some of our best friend's abby and dylan. hudson is just going to LOVE spending the summer in his native land (since he is an alaskan malamute!).

for now though we will focus on tying up loose ends here in providence and PACKING. yuck.
